Outdoor Fit Guide | Women, Men & Youth

DRYMTN / Purpose first. Fit next.

Your gear should fit the work you do.

Choose your activity before the size label. Hunt and scout, fish and water, train and move, or camp and everyday: each asks something different of a garment.

Women belong at the center of the design.

Reach, rise, torso length, hip room, pocket placement and bathroom access are design decisions. A smaller men’s pattern does not answer every one of them. Our current unisex apparel is labeled unisex; it is not presented as a purpose-built women’s performance collection.

A five-minute fit check

  1. Start with a garment you wear comfortably. Lay it flat and compare its width and length against the exact product’s measurement chart. Check whether the chart describes body measurements or the garment itself.
  2. Move through your day. Reach overhead, sit, squat and step up. Look for pulling across the back, restricted hips, riding hems or a waistband that shifts.
  3. Add your real layers. Check sleeve room, hood overlap and the places a pack belt or harness touches. Do this with unloaded equipment in a safe setting.
  4. Check pockets and access. Can you reach what you need without removing a pack? Can a phone sit securely without restricting a high step? Think through bathroom access before choosing a one-piece or layered system.
  5. Read the exact fabric and care details. Stretch, water resistance, sun protection and moisture-management claims require product-specific information. Do not infer them from a design or a category name.

Men’s and unisex choices

Compare chest width, body length and sleeve measurements instead of assuming your usual letter size transfers between brands. A close base layer and an everyday tee have different jobs.

Youth sizing

Use the youth garment’s own chart. An adult XS is not a youth-size equivalent. Avoid excessive loose fabric and check the supplier’s age guidance, drawcord details and intended use. Ask us for exact measurements when a chart is missing.

Tell us what is missing.

We are developing women’s and youth options around actual outdoor needs. Send a fit request with your purpose, preferred cut, the size range or inseam you cannot find, and the feature that matters most. Share only what you are comfortable sharing; body photos and measurements are not required. A request is not an order or a launch promise.
